Creating scrollable text content in Elementor can be achieved through a few methods, depending on the desired effect:
1. Using the HTML Widget and CSS for a Scrollable Box:
This method is suitable for creating a static text box with a scrollbar when the content exceeds a defined height.
Add an HTML Widget: Drag and drop an HTML widget onto your Elementor canvas.
Insert HTML and CSS: Inside the HTML widget, add your text content within a div element and apply CSS to make it scrollable.

You can then add the CSS to the HTML widget itself (within <style> tags) or in Elementor’s Custom CSS section (requires Elementor Pro or a theme with custom CSS options).

2. Using a Text Editor Widget and Custom CSS:
This method is similar to the above but uses Elementor’s native Text Editor widget for content input, and then applies custom CSS to make it scrollable.
Add a Text Editor Widget: Drag and drop a Text Editor widget onto your Elementor canvas and add your content.
Apply Custom CSS: In the Advanced tab of the Text Editor widget, go to “Custom CSS” (Elementor Pro required). Add the following CSS:

Replace 200px with your desired height.
3. Using a Third-Party Addon (e.g., Unlimited Elements Pro – List Marquee):
For animated or more advanced scrolling text effects like a marquee, a specialized addon might be necessary.
Install and Activate: Install and activate a compatible Elementor addon that offers scrolling text widgets (e.g., Unlimited Elements Pro).
Add the Widget: Locate the specific scrolling text or marquee widget provided by the addon and drag it to your canvas.
Configure Settings: Use the widget’s settings to add your text, adjust speed, direction, and styling options according to the addon’s functionalities.
Choose the method that best suits your specific needs and the complexity of the scrolling effect you want to achieve.
